About Finely Functional Home Organization

I've always had that "knack" for looking at a space and knowing how to make it function better. After years of helping friends and family to define and refine their spaces and streamline their routines to work for them rather than against them, I made the jump into organizing as a full time profession.

I've always enjoyed helping people to alleviate difficulties in their lives and I am truly honored to be in the position to work with people in such a meaningful way. I will work with you side-by-side to accomplish your goals.

Before becoming a professional organizer,  I spent 20 years as a technical communicator, documenting software applications for various industries. I should have taken it as a sign back then how much I enjoyed improving internal processes and standard operating procedures.

I earned a Graduate certificate in Technical Communications from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in English (with a minor in Secondary Education) from Bridgewater State University. I also draw from my many years of project management as a busy professional, mom, and community volunteer.

I am a proud member of the Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD), National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (NAPO), and the NAPO - New England Chapter, where I previously served on the Board of Directors. I am always taking new professional development classes and reading up on organizing principles and approaches. I learn something new with each and every client.

I have earned the following Level 1 certificates of study from the ICD:

  • Chronic Disorganization
  • Basic ADD Issues with the CD Client
  • Understanding the needs of the Aging CD client
  • CD Client Administration
